Design & build
Designed by Charles Nicholson, the Nicholson 26 has become a classic masthead sloop, representing a good compromise between sailing performance and cruising comfort. Tumbleweed was built by Camper & Nicholson in 1967 of GRP. She has a long deep keel, tiller steering and 6’ headroom in the saloon.

Antifouling build-up removed 2020 and osmosis treatment patched where necessary

Cruised to Scotland, then Holland through Mast up Route spending a year in Holland, into German Bight and through Kiel Canal into Baltic. 2 years cruising Denmark, Germany, Sweden and through the Gote canal back to Essex.
The boat spent some years at Wivenhoe Sailing Club, cruised coastally, Ireland, Scotland, France and up to Norfolk and Suffolk, back to mooring in Brightlingsea, and now in local boatyard, Essex.
A change of circumstances means this vessel is now for sale albeit very, very reluctantly @ £96,000
