Our mooring barge was taken to the Hub Club boat park this year to have its winter refurbishment tasks carried out.
John King very kindly welded us up a new steering console.
A new foredeck was fitted.
The barge’s new name “Pickle” being applied to her cleaned hull.
Throughout it all, Matthew Newton’s faithful hound, Dappy kept charge of the work.
And finally, last Monday, the completed barge was floated off her trailer at the public slipway and returned to her mooring. Afloat now and ready for the winter mooring inspections!
