End of Season Sail to the Yealm

Last weekend 16-17 September, six of our cruisers and one guest yacht, a Moody 42 named “Seize The Day” made their way to the upper pontoon on the Yealm River for the club’s End of Season Cruise.

The weather was really rather wet so, instead of setting off for our customary meal ashore, this time we gathered in two of the larger yachts to share supper together – made up from contributions from all the boats.

It was a very enjoyable evening and great to be out on the water together for one of the last cruises this year.

This is Tom Lamerton’s boat “Goyescas” the smallest of our merry bunch!

We gathered again for a lengthy breakfast and coffee together on “Seize The Day” before setting off home in a lively E wind for a sunny arrival back at Weir Quay.
